A Rant

I hate most people my age. They think that being stupid is cool.
Like my math class. “You know what patronizing means? You’re so stupid! No one else
knows it!†pardon me, but shouldn’t you feel stupid if you -don’t- know the word
means? I feel stupid if I don’t know a word, or if I don’t know how to spell it. So I look
it up, or ask someone.
In my English class it would always be Mr. Jeffries against the class. Unless we
got a girl to agree with us, because she was smart and popular and the teacher doesn’t
know anything and I’m just stupid. But.. oh.. -she- thinks it’s right, then she must be
because she’s really smart. But I’m still not right because I’m not the other girl.
That brings me to another point. I finally figured out why I hate it. When
someone looks and stares at someone who is “hot†but a complete idiot at the same time.
I don’t believe they deserve those looks. One of my friends thinks one guy is “so hot†but
hates him at the same time, because he’s mean to other people and treats them like they
are under him. Does he deserve those looks? I don’t think he does. That is why if
someone asks me if someone is hot, I’ll look at them. If I know them, I’ll decided if the
are a good or bad person. If they are bad, I’ll say no, they aren’t. If they are a good
person I’ll say “yeah, they’re pretty nice.†I don’t know what the bad people look like, I
am blinded by their stupidity. If I don’t know the person, I’ll just say “I don’t know.â€
Because I don’t.
There are so many people out there that get the looks they don’t deserve. The
people who have the good personality and the “god looks†compared to “hot looks†are
usually treated like dirt or looks down on, and they are usually the good people. Granted
not all good looking people are good and not all hot looking people are bad.
Last thing, this year, I was taught thinks by my American history teacher. I
learned, for once. He made learning fun, and he went over things and talked to us, and
kept on until he was sure we’d do well and remember it. A lot of people said that he is a
bad teacher because he makes it too easy for us. How is it bad if we are learning, who
said it was to be hard, and not fun? I learned everything he taught us, isn’t that what
counts? “Life is harder than that.†Who made it hard? Who said “Life should not be fun,
people should have no fun in life.†I don’t think it should be, if that is what it takes to
learn, I’m all for it. Mr. Jeffries would push our minds until we told him it was too much,
that’s working hard, but we were having fun at the same time. We would tell him it was
too much and he would listen to us. Not the “I’m older than you, I’m always right.†thing.
