Time evasive,

when I blink,

time has just elapsed.

Time escalates,

ever quicker,

plans to expedite.

Time this instant,

fleeting by,

catch that moment next.

Time accelerates,

now is past,

quicker, faster, by.

Time elusive,

I grow older.

I no longer wait.

Time now is done.

Clock strikes twelve.

No more time for me.
