Was it really that long ago?

It was then that we sailed the stars,

To places we did not know.

No one at all could touch us then.

We were so far from their reach.

No matter how hard that they tried,

Never our world could they breach.

I cannot see them anymore.

Reaching the sky, we could touch them!

But now I reach a closed door.
