Is there something wrong with me?

Why can't I take my mind off of her?

She's my best friend,

But that's all she is.

I know that,

I truly do,

But it still hurts.

I'm happy when I'm with her,

I'm upset when I'm not.

I trust her,

I talk to her,

We help each other,

We comfort each other,

But we're still just friends.

I know it's prbably better that way,

I just wish things could be different.

But they never will be.

I'll never be with her,

I'll always be alone.
