Petal by petal, to pluck the flower

Do not know if love or not.

so stay just friends the petals say.

The petal cannot future see,

but flower whole can cultivate.

Time and prayer to foresee,

the one who will be right for thee.

A lifetime match by God alone,

to blend two lives into just one.

Let the flower stay intact,

watch until the flower wither.
