Transparently

By: Amaris

Yesterday

I died

And today

I woke up

And went to school

I say in my desk

The second one

In the third row

With an open notebook

And a pencil

And the words

Drifted

softly from my lips

And the sun

Passed, warm and misty

through me

The girl, there

says hello

I smile back

transparently

She couldn't have known

I'd died

I sit

quietly

hands folded

And breathe

the dust of my dying
