Old Poem
By: Joshua Gardynik (falcon)
The time you're gone, though short it is,
Seems all too much to me.
But soon our love will make us meet,
And stay, eternally.
Fate and destiny, wonderful things they are,
That twist and weave through the living.
Binding us closer and closer together,
Soon two becomes one, everlasting.
Rainy days, stormy weather,
Hard times will try to make us quit.
But in the end, when all is said,
Our faith will get us through it.
For now our dreams are all we have,
And they will have to pull us through.
Until the time that we're together,
The time the stars already drew.
The book of our lives is in the writing,
And soon we'll be handed the pen.
Good authors we will have to become,
For the mistakes cannot be written again.
